Miss my Mommy

I have been missing Mom a lot lately. I wish I could see her. Aunt L says that the plane ticket is really expensive though so Mom can't visit for Spring Break.

I have lost some weight. I guess working out is start to make a difference. I don't really like working out, but I have been doing better about working out when I get home from school and watching what I eat.

I can't wait for softball to start. Uncle D and I have been throwing the ball back and forth quite a bit. I think I am getting better. I wish I didn't have to wait until April or May. That's a LONG ways away.

Whew

Cedes baseball is keeping us busy. It seems like she has practice EVERY night! Or if she doesn't have practice, she has a game. It never ends! I wonder if I will be that busy when softball starts for me?!

School is ok. I had to take the BIG tests to see if I can go into the eighth grade! I hate those tests, I am always afraid I will fail. I don't think I did, but they still make me really nervous.

I need some new clothes but I don't know when I am going to be able to get them. I so tired of always being broke! Sigh! It's really not that bad, but it feels like it sdometimes. I suppose that's becuase there are 7 of us. Aunt L says we are expensive.

I wish softball would start. They are saying it's not going to start until May which is a LONG ways away. I want to be practicing and playing now. It's bad enough that I didn't make the team because the coach picked her favorites. Anyways, I can't wait for softball to start!

We are getting ready to take the tests that say whether we pass or fail. I don't really like those tests, becuase I don't want to fail. That would be really bad! Aunt L thinks I will do good, but it's still scary. I don't want to be help back again!

Life

I helped make dinner. I got to make the french fries. Everyone kept stealing them as soon as I got a batch finished. That makes it really hard for me to finish them. Aunt L gave me a puppy dog pout to get a fry. It was awful!

I didn't do very well on a test this week. studied the wrpng stuff and failed the test. Aunt L was asking me about it, but I couldn't really tell her what happened. I think the big thing was that I didn't know we had a test.

I can't wait for softball to start. We have gone out to practice several times. I think I am getting better. I have been working on my hitting and throwing so I will get better. Uncle D got a thin g to help. Someone holds it and you hit the ball thing on the end. He also got a really thin stick to hit wiffle balls with. That is really hard.
