Sigh

It's raining. Unless it gets sunny later I will not be able to go outside and play. I like going outside.

Mercedes has been driving me nuts. I love her but she can be a pain. She follows me around and always wants to do what I do.

I have a field trip this week to a nature place. I think it will be fun. Then next week is the last week of school. Yea! Maybe Aunt Lisa will take me to the swimming pool.

I also have TOAD day on Friday. Nicole and I did a project on archaeology (Egypt) and everyone said our poster was really pretty. Aunt Lisa and Grandma said they would come to see it. We have heiroglyphics that guests have to decipher which is cool.

School is almost Done

Well, I am almost done with school. Only another week or so and then I can be a bum. Hopefully Aunt Lisa will take us to the swimming pool more.

I am signed up for summer swimming lessons. I get to advance which I am happy about. The teacher said I am one of the best in the class.

I didn't have guitar lessons this week. My Gary was sick, so I get this week off. But next week I go back. I wanted to go this week though beuase I had learned everything I was assigned.

We are going to try to go to a movie this weekend. Just Aunt Lisa, Mercedes and I. Aunt Lisa says it is to make up for being so short-tempered. I don't care as long as we get go. We might also get to go out for ice cream, though we'll have to see about that.

Thursday

It's raining, so we won't be able to go outside and play. At least it's not cold.
I'm kind of sad that I don't get to go to Texas, but hopefully Grandma will come home soon.only 3 more weeks of school, then a long break. We have a lot of summer plans too. That should be fun.

Guitar lessons are ok. Mr Gary says I am doing well. It's a lot of work though.

All's well

It's Sunday. Alexis is feeling a bit under the weather since she is starting to come down with bronchitis. I think the stress of Thursday brought it on. The doctor is treating her with antibiotics, and she seems to be doing ok.

She's heading back to school tomorrow, and back to guitar lessons on Tuesday, so things should settle down.

We are also waiting for her referral to a counselor so that there are no lasting effects from Thursday's trauma. She seems to be ok, but better to be safe than sorry.

She has been taking care of Grandma who also saw the Dr on Friday and came down with a bug. Probably for the same reasons. Unfortunately, Grandma's is much worse.

Uncle Derek and I got her some new t-shorts for school yesterday, they all had cute little pictures and sayings on them. She really seemed to like one with a kitty on it, so that's good. The other two were also "cute" and they aren't pink, so I think she will wear them. She needed a few more t-shirts that would pass the school's dress code.
