Lazy Days

I am a bum! I go swimming, sleep in, stay up late, play with my friends. What more is there in life?

I am planning my birthday party which is going to be a beach party outside. We are going to play Boccee ball, beach ball dodge ball, water balloon and water gun fights, and someother stuff. Maybe even the limbo. Way cool! It will be a LOT of fun! And I can have Sami and Hannah over to spend the night. That will be a lot of fun too!

Another Week

I'm getting used to not having school. I sleep in until 1000 or 1200, then get up to go play outside. Aunt Lisa changed my chores so I don't have so much to worry about. I can spend more time with Sami.

Last night was swimming lessons and then we stayed to play for an hour in the water. It wasn't long enough, but it was fun. The teacher said Sami and I were doing very well/ I think we will be able to move up to the next level soon.

Aunt Lisa and Uncle Derek also took us swimming last Friday. That was cool. We were there for a couple of hours. Sami spent the night too. I wanted her to spend the night last night, but Aunt lisa says only one night a week.

I got a sunburn yesterday, but it's not too bad. Grandma helped me put aloe on it last night. I'm gonna be dark by the end of the summer if I keep this up.

We watched Where the Red Fern Grows yesterday. It was good, but it was sad. Aunt Lisa said I should read the book, but I already saw the movie, so why read the book?

BRACES

I have to have BRACES! BRACES! Why me? I don't think I like Aunt Lisa very much. And I don't want braces!

I do want to go swimming! Now! Today! Every Day! Grandma got me a new swimming suit, which did not make me feel any better about the braces. Neither did the strawberry dessert at the cute little tea shop on Main street. At least the other drs appt was a breeze no removing my clothes and no shots. I still don't like Aunt Lisa very much right now.

Last Day of School

I'm a little bummed. I really like school here. I am so weird. I got all A's and B's. Mostly A's.

I am spendng the night with my best friend tonight and tomorrow we are going to go play miniature golf. That should be fun even though Mercedes will drive me nuts. Oh well, I'll live.

I am starting to get a tan from being outside. I got to play in the water on the neighbor's trampoline the other day. That was fun.

I start the next session of swimming lessons on Monday. My best friend is going at the same time so it should be a lot of fun. Aunt Lisa says she is healed enough that we can start going to the pool next week, so I can practice then.

I am going to be reading this summer for the summer reading program. I already have two books. Grandma says we can go to Barnes and Noble or the library for more books when I finish the ones I have.

Guitar lessons are going good. Mr Gary says that I did the best this week that I have done so far. I'm practicing and trying to do a good job.

My Week In Review

Let's see. . . .

Monday was no school, so we played. Sami wasn't home so it was just me and 'Cedes.

Tuesday was guitar lessons. I missed them last week. I dropped my pick into the guitar too and couldn't get it out. A nice lady let me borrow one.

Aunt Lisa got me a new pair of capri pants, which are my favorite. They are like sweats, so they are reallly comfortable.

I had some problems with an assignment at school, so my grade went form an A to a B. I was really bummed about that. And I wanted to go swimming but Aunt Lisa and Grandma went to some ladies night out thing. Not a good night.

We also had a field trip on Wednesday wich was not so bad, except the stuff Aunt Lisa let me get won't be here until next week. That was kind of deressing too.

On Thursday the teacher said I could do extra credit stuff to try to bring my grade up. I think I did that ok. We also went and got family pictures (see link to the right).

Friday was good. I got to play outside for hours once I got home from school. And Aunt Lisa let us eat supper outside too. That was cool

Friday was also T.O.A.D. at school. I think our project was really good, but I didnt get the presentation we prepared. Nicole got that. It was fun though, and I am glad we got to show it off. We worked really hard on it.

Today is the last swimming lesson for a while. I don't think there's a test though.
