About Softball

I was really upset that I didn’t make the softball team, especially since some of the girls who made the team really were not that good. One of my friends who tried out with me was a LOT better than some of the girls who were chosen and she didn’t make the team so I think the coach picked girls her daughter liked or that she knew. I don’t think that is very fair, but at least I can play for the city team. I won’t start until May, but at least I can play. Unca D got me some things to help me practice too and he says we will go to eh batting cage to work on my swing also.

I have been hanging out with my friend Sarah a lot. She’s really nice and she might get to play softball with me. Her parents still have to agree to it though and they aren’t being very nice. I really hope she can play. One of the other girls I know might also play so the three of us can hang out and I would really like that.

I am considering trying out for the dance team next year. A girl I know at school is on it and she makes it look really cool. I am also going to be in Jazz band so I will be really busy with that. Aunt L is buying my sax so I get to keep it too. That will be a lot of fun!

SOFTBALL!!!!!

Softball starts next week. We were supposed to have two practices this week to get an idea of skills this week but it rained one day and the coach couldn't be there the other day. Next week is tryouts! I really hope I make it! We have been practicing after I get home from school. It's fun, but there isn't enough time to really get a lot of practice.

I have also been working out harder after school. It's not as much as fun as playing softball but I think it's helping. I am trying to eat healthier too. I think I have even lost a pound or two. It's really hard though.

School is ok. I have made some friends and the stalker boy has been leaving me alone. He was weird!

I can't wait for next week. Melanie and Ms Lala will eb here for several days. I have really missed them. I wish they lived near us still. Sigh!
