I got nothin'

I don't mean for Christmas, I mean not much is going on. Not having school makes things really quiet. We are going out for BD's b-day tonight, so that ought to be fun. We are going to Logan's which I LOVE!

I did get some cool presents. The Tinkerbell clothes were really cool. and I got a Zune! That was VERY COOL! And I got some other stuff like fairy pictures that I like. They will look nice in my room.

We still have another week off of school, so I don't know what I am going to do to keep busy. It gets boring after a while.

I finally did my book report on Black Beauty. It was a pretty good book. I didn't realize that you have to write a LOT more if you type it up. I didn't like that! I don't think it was fair either, but I did it and now I am good for a while.

XMAS Break

The band concert was alright, but I really hate the uniform. It doesn’t fit and it feels nasty. The only good thing is that everyone else has to wear it too.

I have been walking/jogging a lot, like I am supposed too. Part of the time I take Mercedes with me which isn’t too bad. I also take Kaia, but she isn’t very good at running with me like she’s supposed too. She’s been getting into a lot of trouble too. She is chewing on things and tearing them up like crazy. She chewed the wiring on the gas grill outside, so Uncle D was REALLY mad at her. Aunt L is not too happy either, but I don’t know how to get her to stop.

I am glad we are out of school next week. I want to sleep in and be a bum. I don’t have any big plans, but that’s ok, I can find plenty to do. Maybe we can rent movies or something.

I still Aunt L and Uncle D a book report from the move (Black Beauty) so I did that. I wasn't going to get to play with any of my XMAS presents for a week if I didn't. So, not nice.

News

I played in a parade for band the other day. I don’t think I want to do that again, at least not any time soon. It was a LOT of walking and not a lot of fun. Even worse, the uniforms were nasty! The pants were HUGE! I didn’t like them at all. I have a concert in a few weeks too. Hopefully that’s better than the parade. My playing is alright, but walking and playing isn’t much fun.

The doctor says I need to be exercising for 30 minutes every day. And I can’t have any sodas AND I have to cut back on juice. Oh, and I have to go to a class on nutrition so I can learn how to eat healthier. The doctor is concerned about my weight, so I get to do all of this fun (NOT) stuff. Aunt L has been making me take Kaia for walks as soon as I get out of school and no more second helpings. Sigh! Aunt L doesn’t think I need to be worried, but the doctor made me feel bad about myself. I already have problems with feeling fat without the doctor adding to it. Aunt L says we will work through it, but it doesn’t feel that way, at all.

I am kind of making friends here, but its hard. I really miss my friends in Ohio and wish I could see them again. I text and call them a lot, but sometimes I can’t get a hold of them like I want too. And it doesn’t look like I will get to see Andrea for XMAS this year. That sucks! I really wanted to see her. Aunt L says she could come here if she can afford the plane ticket. Yea, that’s not gonna happen. Seems like EVERYONE is broke. I get tired of hearing that we don’t have any money.

I helped Uncle D put up the XMAS lights. They are all blue. I think they are really pretty. I was bothering Uncle D by singing really loud (and badly). Aunt L and BD said they could hear me killing the cat from in the house. It was really funny. We all started doing it after dinner last night. Poor Uncle D had to go hide in the bedroom. He said we gave him a headache and Micah started crying because we scared him. Poor baby, he’s better now though.
